Prayer

In silence and stillness, the nuns should earnestly seek the face of the Lord and never cease making intercessions with the God of our salvation that all men and women might be saved. (cf. LCM 74: IV)

As women of prayer, we have our hearts centered on the Lord.  We develop a relationship with God through private prayer.  A period of contemplation is set aside in which each sister approaches God as He leads her.

The practice of private prayer continuous throughout the life of the cloistered nun and gives strength and vitality to all the forms of prayer by which she builds up the people of God.  She offers up prayers and supplications to God, interceding for the needs and salvation of the world.
