The Holy Mass is the center of our community liturgy wherein Christ is proclaimed and preached in the homily, worshiped and received in the mystery of the Eucharist. While the Dominican Fathers from the various Provinces of the Order are entrusted with the preaching and spreading of the Word to the whole world, the nuns proclaim the gospel of God by the example of their lives. Hence, from the mystery of the Eucharist, we can receive and draw an increase of faith, hope and love needed to support and strengthen our monastic life.
The nuns are appointed for the work of Divine praise. Seven times a day we assemble in choir to celebrate the Liturgy of the Hours, which is the official prayer of the Church. It is the heart of our whole life.
Before the silence of the night begins, we sing Night Prayer and in the antiphon Salve Regina commend ourselves to the protection of the Blessed Virgin.
