Common Life

The first reason for which we are gathered together in community is to live in harmony having one mind and heart in God.  (LCM 2: I)

By common life we come to understand each other and become aware of what Christ wants us to be.  The joys of our common religious life are many.  These and many joys of living together in a community thus attain the purpose of coming together in the monastery: to live harmoniously in your house, intent upon God in oneness of mind and heart.

At the end of each day we gather together for recreation.    It is a time to    talk and share what God has done for and to us during the day.  We try to  follow  the example of Saint Dominic, to make ourselves all things for all.
